Budget for your trip in Bulgaria
Given the slightly lower standard of living in Bulgaria, your holiday will pass under the sign of Epicurus. You can take advantage of low prices and enjoy a wide range of products and quality services without breaking the bank. As the prices of those goods and services is a significant difference according to region and season. The capital Sofia and the Black Sea coast are the most expensive, yet still quite attractive for Western tourists. Prices are listed in leva (Lev) and sometimes in euros. Accommodation
There are different types of accommodation to suit all pockets and tastes. You can find a double room in a guest house with breakfast for a price between 40 and 60 lv., in a family hotel between 50 and 100 lv., while the larger hotels prices exceed 100 lv., sometimes more.

Food
You will certainly go to the restaurant every day because the prices are cheap. There are no set menus, everything is a la carte, but for a full meal price per person will rise from 10 to 15 lv. The numerous bars and cafés offer for example beer of 0.5 l. 1 lv., coffee at 0.60 lv., coca cola at 0.80 lv. At these prices, watch your line.

Transport
Transport prices is ridiculous. A shift in city buses, will cost less than a lv. To avoid crowded buses always, opt for a taxi that displays rates at around 0.5 lv / km. In big cities, it may be preferable to set a package for the ride. For intercity travel, eg bus ticket Sofia - Plovdiv (145 km.) is 10 lv. while the train ticket cost 6 to 8 LV. To go to Varna (445 km.) by bus, the cost of ticket is 20 lv. as far as the train. Obviously for more comfort and freedom above all, the car rental is the ideal way to explore the country. There are good vehicles for 30 to 60 € per day depending on the plan for a week. Regarding the petrol, per liter costs approximately same as in UK.
