The Church of the Holy Saviour (St. Spas) was constructed in 1609 with donations from wealthy residents of Nesebar (their names are inscribed above the south entrance). It is built in a single nave and apse form, with a length of 11.7 meters and a width of 5.7 meters. The eastern side of the church is half dug into the ground. Inside, the church is completely covered with frescoes made by an unknown artist in the early 17th century. It is used today as a museum.
