The Central Sofia Market Hall was built in 1911. It is a major landmark of the city center. Naum Torbov, the architect of the building, combined elements of neo-Byzantine and neo-Baroque style in its design. The main entrance is decorated with the emblem of Sofia.
Located in the heart of the capital, the Halls were one of the first shopping centers. The 3200 square meter area houses 170 different stores and businesses.
