The Yagodina Cave is located in the Rhodopes and is part of the beautiful karst cliffs of Buinovo. With a length of over 10 kilometers, and divided into three levels, only the bottom part is illuminated and accessible to tourists. The tour lets visitors explore over a kilometer of the cave, and discover a plethora of rock formations, but what makes it an interesting and original place and distinguishes it from other caves in the area are the numerous cave pearls. They are formed in small pools, drop by drop, by grains of sands caught in water which over many years are converted into calcite, and form a round shape.
