The St. Sophronius of Vratsa Ethnographic Complex is attached to the Vratsa Regional History Museum. It presents ethnographic and architectural exhibitions created between 1972 and 1987. They include three houses from the Renaissance era and the Ascension school, situated near the temple/monument of St. Sophronius of Vratsa. The exhibition presents the lifestyle, traditional crafts, and culture of the Vratsa region during the late 19th century and the middle of the 20th century.
The house of one of the richest men in Northwest Bulgaria, Dimitraki Hadzhitoshev, displays the interior of a 19th century house. In the house of Ivan Zambin various crafts are presented, such as winemaking, viticulture, and sericulture. One of the largest exhibitions of the museums displays the carriages designed by Mito Orozov, a local manufacturer.
