The Balchik Botanical Garden is found in the Palace of Maria of Romania. It occupies an area of 19 hectares, which present a rich collection of over 3,500 plant species. In the 800 square meter indoor area you can see more than 2,600 species of plants.
This is an exclusive collection that includes rare species, such as the Opuntia Galapagos cactus. The oldest specimens in the collection are over 70 years old. Visitors can immerse themselves in this set of plants, the most diverse in the Balkans, in a unique setting overlooking the Black Sea. The terraced gardens, alleys and tunnels, waterfalls make for a fascinating walk in the plant world, where you can feel the harmony between man and nature.
