The Blue Rocks Nature Park is found in the southern part of the Balkans, north of Sliven. These are rock formations that have a bluish reflection at sunset or sunrise. The scientific explanation for the blue color of the rocks is due to their geological composition. This is one of the largest deposits of quartz-porphyry in Europe.
The park has a total area of 11,380 hectares. The choice of outdoor activities is wide and varied. The Blue Rocks Park is situated above the city and immersed in a magical atmosphere.
Many trails allow visitors to explore the park. The most famous and traversed path is the Haidushkata path. If you want to visit the park but are short on time, you can take a chairlift to the top of the mountain and enjoy a pleasant stroll with stunning views.
