The Ethnographic Museum of Transylvania, located in a park in the northwest part of Cluj-Napoca, offers us a chance to explore the architecture and craftsmanship of this fascinating region.
Founded in the early 20th century, this was the first museum in Romania to be created using the scientific method. This allows for the best representation of the different aspects of village life in Transylvania.
Among the main exhibits are the wooden churches (from the villages of Petrindu, Chizer and Chiral), ceramics studios (from Zhozesniy Birgeuliy), traditional farms, smithies and factories.
