Cape Dolosman is located on the shore of Lake Razim, and stands at a height of 30 meters. This is the only seaside cliff in Romania.
Cape Dolosman (Capul Dolosman in Romanian) is a natural area that is included into the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve, which is protected by UNESCO. This is an important place for migratory birds, which nest and pass through the area during May and November.
The geology of Cape Dolosman is also interest. The cliff is made of limestone, and sits in Lake Razim, with a height of 30 meters and a length of two kilometers. From its summit, visitors can contemplate the lagoons, as well as Gura Portitei and Tulcea in the distance. A visit to this natural site can be included after visiting the Greek fortress of Argamum, which sits at the top of the cliff.
